Black Belt #31: Jason "Buzzard" Karuza

Jason “Buzzard” Karuza was a charming young man, humble, quiet, unassuming, and always helpful to his classmates.

Buzzard’s forms were always fun to watch. He brought a definite flair to his movement and technique. And it wasn’t that he was trying to perform or show off. His forms were just enjoyable to watch, most probably because he enjoyed doing them.

In his early fighting days, Jason was a little tentative, but as he grew older, gained height and size, expanded his fighting repertoire and confidence, he became a formidable foe with skilled hands and a keen eye. Yet, he was a kind soul and one with whom the other kids in class never had to fear for fear that he would hurt them intentionally. In all, he was a true gentleman with the kind of bearing befitting a true Black Belt of the Kiado-Ryu.
