Gentleman Warrior: Bob “Trucker” MacFarlane

From Genny Edge’s 1991 archives comes this photo of Bob “Trucker” MacFarlane, a true Black Belt and a great gentleman. Trucker is a 2nd Dan Black Belt. Although his original style is Lima Lama, Bob graced the Karate Institute of America for many years, helping our students, sparring with our fighters and spreading his first class personality throughout our facility. It is impossible to find a more gracious, skilled, kind, caring, supportive and distinguished individual than Bob MacFarlane. He is a great martial artist and exemplary human being. Just a quick note though: if you ever spar with him, watch out for his backfist. It’s blazing fast and comes out of nowhere!
