Paddle Hound

Enjoying some time alone in one of his favorite pastimes—paddling on the water at Dana Point Harbor—is Kiado-Ryu up-and-coming phenom, Wayne “Greyhound” Pierpoint. This photo was taken at the KIA’s 30th Anniversary celebration on 30 August 2009. We tried to get a picture of Mr. Pierpoint’s face but were unsuccessful. Perhaps his call-sign should be altered to “Bashful Hound!” Unfortunately for those he fights, he doesn’t turn his face away when a competitor is standing in front of him. His collegiate football prowess as a defensive end kicks in and he becomes, not a bashful hound, but a “Daunting Hound!”
