How fun is this? Cute kid. Remember when Aidan was just beginning his martial arts journey?

Well, he’s all grown up at age 17 and is a force to deal with. No kidding. Aidan is now a Freshman in college.
A happy warrior? Or one to be feared? Who, in their right mind, would want to be flat on their back looking up at this dangerous dude? Answer: only an idiot. Smasher keeps climbing up the Kiado-Ryu ladder…with serious intent. He could easily become the 66ᵗʰ Black Belt of the Karate Institute of America.
All he has to do is keep pressing on and he’ll get there for sure.

A graceful tower…with artistry and power.

Goodbye Green Belt. Hello 1ˢᵗ Dan Brown Belt!
Pretty scary! This kid is all business! Well…most of the time, but at any time you would not want to pick a fight with him. Not only does he possess great fighting skill, he’s been spending a lot of time at the gym building muscle and strength from head to toe.

Who’s the runt now? Talk about fighting a giant with skills, focus and intent. Ouch! Aidan didn’t get the callsign “Smasher” for no reason, and he lives up to it, for sure!

Big brother Tristan is not the big brother any more! Watching these two bros fight is quite the show. They are truly skilled warriors, as well as being extraordinary human beings. Great job Mr. & Mrs. Ligtvoet!
You can rest assured your children are great human beings thanks to you.
What a wonderful experience to be part of the success of these two extraordinary men. Extraordinary BIG men!
What a great family! Logan certainly knows how to pose for a pic! Awesome dog!

The Ligtvoet family. Left to right: Ed (dad), Atousa (mom), Aidan, Tristan, Lauren and Logan.
Poised and ready to take the next step up the Kiado-Ryu ladder. And one great smile for a job well done!
CONGRATULATIONS, AIDAN!
Here’s looking forward to your 2ⁿᵈ Dan Brown Belt!
